FRAME FLEXIBILITY

The 5500 has a unique configuration of two front ranks which follow the contours of the land at a depth set by the nearby castor assemblies, plus two rear ranks following the ground on which the press wheels run. This allows it to achieve exact and repeatable sowing depth.

FOLDING CONFIGURATION / TRANSPORT WIDTHS

The Flexi-Coil 5500 air drill features a patented two-piece wing, with simple, parallel-circuit hydraulics. This design minimises stress on the framework while ensuring depth accuracy. A revolutionary folding sequence for the two-piece wing design gives the 5500 a reduced profile for easy transport. The unit folds down to just 18 ft (5.4 m wide), making it slightly wider than most tractors. Transport height is just 13 ft (4.1 m).
